Sarah is a North Carolina native and has lived at the beach for most of her life. She attended East Carolina University where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Family and Community Services and the University of Tennessee at Martin with a Master of Science in Education. As a writer and editor, Sarah’s career has spanned the spectrum of magazine copy, Dept. of Defense publications, and website content.
Her husband is a United States Marine and they have three children. She serves on a number of local volunteer boards in the community and lobbies for education reform through local politics. In her freetime, she enjoys the beach, boating, woodworking, and training her Beligian Malinois.
