How many military-connected individuals go through FourBlock annually?

FourBlock serves over 1,200 military-connected individuals each year, including separating service members, veterans, and over 200 military spouses annually—a number that continues to grow. 

  • Approximately 1,000 participants take part in the Veteran Career Readiness Program (VCRP) each year
  • An additional 1,800+ individuals engage through Career Pathway Events, alumni programming, and digital platform tools such as Careerflow.ai

This brings total annual engagement to more than 3,000 touchpoints across FourBlock’s national ecosystem. 

Looking ahead, our bold goal is to scale our impact and serve 25,000 veterans and military spouses over the next five years—delivering personalized career readiness support, mentorship, and employer engagement that transforms lives and strengthens America’s workforce.

How many different cohorts per year?

FourBlock runs 40+ cohorts annually, both in-person and virtual, in major markets nationwide. Programs are offered twice per year, aligned with the academic calendar (spring and fall semesters). 

In addition to these structured cohorts, FourBlock hosts Career Pathway Events (CPEs), Industry Events, Hiring Events, and Graduate Networking Events to foster year-round engagement between veterans and employers.

Do you have a breakdown by category (veterans, spouses, etc.)?

While FourBlock is predominantly veteran-focused, military spouses are an increasing share of program participants, and new initiatives are underway to scale their inclusion. 

Current participant demographics: 

  • 80% Veterans, including:
    • 67% Active Duty/Transitioning Service Members
    • 29% Student Veterans
    • 4% In-Career Veterans
  • 20% Military Spouse

Education levels of FourBlock alumni (6,000+ to date): 

  • 33% hold a Bachelor’s Degree
  • 58% hold a Master’s or MBA
  • 3% hold a JD or Doctorate
  • 94% have earned a college degree

How many students per cohort / coach?

Each cohort averages 30 students, and each participant is matched with a dedicated Career Readiness Coach. The average ratio is approximately 1 coach per 2 participants, allowing for deep, individualized career support.

How does Employer Sponsorship work?

FourBlock’s Employer Sponsorship model is tiered and flexible, allowing companies to engage in ways that align with their hiring needs, social impact goals, and workforce priorities. Sponsorships can include: 

  • Hosting a cohort in a key market
  • Speaking or mentoring at Career Pathway Events
  • Featuring company leaders as guest lecturers
  • Providing coaches and volunteers
  • Gaining visibility on FourBlock’s national employer platform

Each sponsorship opportunity includes both branding and engagement benefits, and companies are encouraged to nominate employees as mentors, coaches, or presenters to build meaningful connections with the veteran talent pipeline.
